The National Convention is no place for beginners during this critical time in our Union’s history.
A Cuban/American actor actively involved in SAG-AFTRA, I presently am serving my second term on the Atlanta Board, and I have been Chair of the local EEO/Diversity Committee for the same four years. I also serve on the National EEO/Diversity Committee. I was active in the process to get Telemundo/NBC to become signatory to SAG-AFTRA. I currently serve on the Board of the Atlanta Film Festival and Co-Chair its Film Industry Relations Committee. I am always looking for ways to increase opportunities for our members and to make our Union stronger. I’d appreciate your vote.
I have been a member of SAG-AFTRA since 1996 and a member of AEA since 2003. I serve as Vice Chair of The Muriel Moore/Danny Nelson SAG-AFTRA Conservatory and am a member of the New/Next Gen and Inter-Union Relations Committees. I serve on the Atlanta AEA Liaison Committee and am Chair of our Open Hand Fundraiser. It is very important to me to see this market grow and continue to be the major player that it is today. Being part of this team is an honor, and I promise to do all I can to support this extraordinary market!
ATL Board Member since 2015, serving on Wages & Working Conditions, Agent & CD Relations, Organizing, and the National Right-to-Work Committees. Current Chair of the New/Next Gen Committee and Vice Chair of the SAG Awards Committee. I have been a professional improvisor and actor exclusively in the Atlanta market for 20+ years, working to support my family, while creating a career in the industry. Leveraging leadership and creative problem-solving skills, I bring sound judgment and industry experience to SAG-AFTRA initiatives. I strive to support sound solutions that insure more member benefits from this booming Atlanta market.
I am a native Atlantan and have been a member of SAG-AFTRA since 1982. In NYC, I served on the Agents Access Committee (1984-87). First elected to the Atlanta Board in 2007, I have served on the following committees: Organizing (Chair), “Lend Me An Ear” (Vice-Chair), Wages & Working Conditions, and SAG Awards (Chair/MC 2012-19). I was the local AFTRA President (2011-12), a SAG-AFTRA Co-President (2013) and Vice President (2014-17). I am committed to help guide a strategy to a stronger Union of professional performers in a Right-to-Work state. I ask for your support.
Current ATL 2nd Vice President and National Delegate. Chair and creator of The Muriel Moore/Danny Nelson SAG-AFTRA Conservatory, with over 150 free programs to build our community and raise the bar of professionalism, plus contributions of thousands of pounds of food to those in need. My service includes Secretary of the Atlanta Board, alternate National Board, Co-Chair of the Organizing Committee, and the Wages & Working Conditions Committee. 47-years as a working actor. I know the contracts. I’ve worked them. We must keep fighting for Union jobs, against Right-to-Work, for our local staff and to maintain our tax incentives.
It has been my honor to represent you on the Atlanta Board since 2001. I ask for your continued support and vote, as I now seek to serve as your 2nd Vice President. I Co-Chair the Workplace Etiquette and Support Committee, the Wages & Working Conditions Committee, and serve on both the Agent & CD Relations and Organizing Committees. As your 2nd Vice President, I will work with you and our Board to organize new work place opportunities, protect our industry’s interests, and help expand ongoing efforts to make Georgia the World’s Entertainment Capital.
I joined SAG-AFTRA in 1989, and I have been blessed to work as a stunt performer, stunt coordinator and actor. It has been my honor to serve multiple terms on the Stunt & Safety, Wages & Working Conditions and Conservatory Committees. Recently, I was added to the Atlanta Board. Our market continues to experience tremendous growth and faces many challenges, but by working together we can turn these challenges into opportunities. Performing stunts taught me the importance of “adapt and overcome.” I ask for your support to further represent you in the important work that lies ahead.
Incumbent Atlanta 1st Vice President, past Georgia SAG President and National Board Member. Several local and national committees, including our National TV/TH Negotiating Committee. Trustee of the SAG-AFTRA Health Plan and SAG Pension Plan. I have been a working Union actor for 35 years, doing what I love and supporting my family. I want to protect and support our local staff and our Georgia production tax incentive so you can build a long career in Atlanta, the #1 Production Center in the World for movies and TV. You should have every opportunity to take full advantage of our exploding market.
I am your current three-term Atlanta President and a member of SAG-AFTRA since 1982. I have served on the national Right-to-Work (Chair), Fi-Core and Principal Performers Committees, as well as being a member, or ex-officio, on all Atlanta Union committees. I am a past President and Board Member for the Georgia Production Partnership (GPP), but still serve on its Government Relations Committee, a former member of the Georgia Governor’s Film Advisory Commission, and one of the key architects in the development of Georgia’s production tax incentives. I would appreciate your vote as we face some truly challenging times.
I am a stunt coordinator, performer and DGA director with over 250 professional credits in film, television and video games across my 23 years of experience in this business. My background at SAG-AFTRA includes the national Interactive Media Negotiating and Performance Capture Committees. Additionally, I served two terms on the Board of Governors at the prestigious Television Academy. Whether you are an actor, dancer, voice talent or stunt performer, our common vision should be the betterment of the Atlanta market for the benefit of all of our members and their families.
